The main challenge involved balancing strong campaign shine with wearable comfort and consistent bulk appearance. Several early references used stiff foil surfaces that cracked during stretch, while dense sequin options created excessive weight in fitted and long-sleeve styles.
Duolan divided the range by product role. High-reflection foil was retained for selected visual styles, while stretch metallic knit and lurex materials were introduced for core commercial silhouettes. Sequin density, lining coverage, seam clearing, and zipper zones were adjusted during sampling.
Before production, approved materials, color references, graded measurements, workmanship details, and packing protection were locked by style. Higher-risk corset and sequin pieces entered first-piece verification before full release. The collection moved into bulk through separate production paths based on material and construction complexity. Sensitive surfaces received tissue protection and controlled folding. The full program was prepared within the agreed seasonal production window, with style records retained for repeat and color-extension planning.

The PP stage locked the approved metallic surface, measurements, lining, seam method, and packing route. First-piece checks focused on surface tension, seam appearance, fit, and pressing.
